We adore denim. We all have more than one of these in our closets and use them frequently. But as we get older, we must tend to some things that prevent us from looking as good in jeans as we would like.
We need to be aware of some guidelines for wearing these jeans while we are around forty years old in order to prevent this from happening.
Today, I’m sharing some ideas and tips on how to dress in jeans that accentuate our best features and present us in a refined and stylish manner.
Skinny jeans
We must eventually get go of too-tight jeans at some time in our life. We want to appear fashionable, but wearing unflattering clothing is not necessary. We can choose jeans that complement our style and fit our form. Fashion must yield to grace and comfort.
Ankles in the air
It’s a pretty casual approach to wear the jeans, provided our ankles look okay. However, you must be mindful of the pants’ length. If it’s excessively long, it won’t serve its job, and the pants will wrinkle up over the shoes in addition to covering our ankles. If it is too short, both our legs and the denim will appear out of proportion.
Low waist
Jeans with a low rise do not help to emphasize the waist. I advise you to go with high-waisted pants. They help to contour your hips and flatten your abdomen.
To accentuate the impression, I suggest wearing them with a blouse or t-shirt tucked inside your pants.
Overloaded style
Wearing jeans alone can make us appear younger. But we also need to know when to quit. Instead of making us appear younger by pairing jeans with t-shirts with big slogans or juvenile hats, it produces an unfavorable contrast.
It is best to pick a detail and build your outfit around that. The clothes should complement one another rather than compete with one another.
Ripped jeans
Wearing torn jeans while we are over forty will not make us look young but rather reckless with our clothing.
If you do decide to wear them, you should stay away from jeans with very large holes or tears, particularly at the knees. A few little thigh tears will suffice for the majority of ladies who are uncomfortable bearing this part of their bodies.
Turn the wheel
The hem can be folded as a small accent to provide movement to our ensemble and highlight the shoes. But if we go beyond the fold, the jean’s structure will change, and it will fall. It will appear strange as a result, and the same will be true of our silhouette.
For the same reason, an excessively broad hem will detract from the overall look of our outfit.
Find balance
You don’t have to wear a similarly fitted shirt if you opt to wear slim pants. By deciding to wear something looser on top, you can give your figure balance and dynamism without taking unnecessary risks with it.
A blouse or shirt in a larger size will hide the tightness of the jeans while also making you appear at ease and at ease.
